My 30 Before 30 List

30 things I want to do before I turn 30. I have read and heard about it. I thought it is an interesting idea. I'm not doing it because 30 is a huge milestone or anything. I just like the idea of having my list of things that I want to do over the next few years. And 30 before 30 is kind of catchy don't you think?

It has taken awhile but I have been compiling a list. These are in no order. Just as I thought of them. Whenever I complete each one I will cross it off and blog about it.

1. Complete a full marathon.
2. Go visit the Grand Canyon.
3. Go cross country skiing again. {Yes, you read that right.}
4. Finish my BA.
5. Go on a helicopter ride.
6. Celebrate Christmas as a whole family on Christmas morning.
7. See Old Faithful erupt at Yellowstone.
8. Go on a train adventure with the girls.
9. Read 52 books in 52 weeks.
10. Complete one of the TV Turn Off weeks.
11. Visit the Chocolate Bar in Texas. {Preferably with Lindsay}
12. Go on a full moon hike.
13. Go to a Cherry Blossom Festival.
14. Read the Book of Mormon cover to cover.
15. Learn how to properly compost and then start a compost pile.
16. Take swing or ballroom dancing lessons.
17. Learn to speak a foreign language.
18. Go to a SF Giants baseball game. {The SF Giants are David's favorite baseball team.}
19. Drive through the California Redwoods.
20. Go snorkeling or scuba diving.
21. Ride in a hot air balloon.
22. Sing at a karaoke bar.
23. Build a sandcastle.
24. Send someone something in the mail for no reason whatsoever except to make them smile.
25. Attend or host a Mother-Daughter tea.
26. Do a family themed Halloween.
27. Learn how to properly make and roll sushi.
28. Make something special for each of my girls that they can always keep.
29. Go on vacation with just David and I to reconnect after all our time away from each other.
30. Celebrate the last night of my 20's in style. :-)

Time I have to finish my list...

    Also, number 27 is something I could teach you how to do (seriously, I am convinced the Navy is trying to keep us apart)
